About Us

Our Mission

At United Military Significant Others, Inc., our mission is to support and empower military families and Veterans. We provide resources, advocacy, and community connections to enhance the lives of those who serve and their loved ones.

Our Commitment

UMSO was created in 2014 to combat isolation, suicide and support our military families. In such time, we have not only continued on that mission but support our Veterans. Our commitment to you whom serve this country is always to support you and ensure you know you are not alone and never will be.  We love you, thank you for your service!

    Frequently Asked Questions

    UMSO opened it's doors in 2014 with our programs, speaking engagements, events and ballgown drives. Currently, UMSO is working with advocacy groups in tandem to support our active duty military families and Veterans.

    We provide advocacy, support, programs for our military families and Veterans around the world. We not only partner with other organizations but also provide a personal, boots-on-the-ground approach to those who need us. 

    Our nonprofit is funded through grants, corporate sponsorships, individual donations, and fundraising events. We are grateful for our generous partners, including Uber, Rent The Runway, Marriott, The Padres, LA Galaxy, Audiences Unlimited, Military Spouse Magazine and others. 

    Our Volunteer Hearts program is what makes us who we are today! Whether you are former military or support our military we always need support to be here for our active duty and Veteran families. It could be doing care packages, fundraisers, or volunteering with us at Wreaths Across America! We are always in need of people that want to support our military.
